Monash University  is a public research university based in Melbourne, Australia. Founded in 1958, it is the second oldest university in the State of Victoria. All undergraduate courses are eligible except Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Psychological Science, and Bachelor of Pharmacy.

Eligibility:

Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification or an international senior secondary qualification accepted by the University with an outstanding Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) or equivalent, as deemed by Monash University Malaysia.

Applicants who have already commenced tertiary studies, or applicants transferring with credit exemptions and/or advanced standing, are not eligible to apply.

How to Apply:

An application for Admission to the University will constitute an application for a scholarship. All applications for Admission consistent with the eligibility and selection criteria will be considered automatically for a scholarship. All successful candidates will be offered a Scholarship along with the Offer of Admission to Monash University Malaysia.

If you are eligible, you will receive notice of the scholarship when you receive your letter of offer.  To accept the scholarship, you must follow the steps below before the lapse date that is specified in your letter of offer.

  1. Accept the offer to study at Monash University Malaysia, making sure you have completed all the relevant forms.
  2. Complete the Scholarship Acknowledgement Form
  3. Submit the forms to:Admissions Office

SADC Secondary School Essay Competition 2021 for SADC Member Countries

The Secretariat of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) is pleased to announce the launch of the 2021 SADC Secondary School Essay Competition.

Application Deadline: 30th April 2021

About the Award: The SADC Secondary School Essay Competition is open only to secondary school students from the SADC Member States; Angola, Botswana, Union of the Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The top three (3) prize winners will receive their prizes and certificates on the margins of the 41st SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held in Lilongwe, Republic of Malawi in August 2021.

The SADC Secondary School Essay Competition was established in 1996 to recognise best students work in disseminating information on SADC to support the process of regional co-operation and integration in the region. 

Eligibility: The SADC Secondary School Essay Competition is open only to secondary school students from the SADC Member States

Eligible Countries: SADC Member States; Angola, Botswana, Union of the Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

To be Taken at (Country): The top three (3) prize winners will receive their prizes and certificates on the margins of the 41st SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held in Lilongwe, Republic of Malawi in August 2021.

Number of Awards: 3

Value of Award: The first prize winner receives US$1,500, second prize winner receives US$1,000 and the third prize winner receives US$750.

How to Apply: The Secretariat is further advising interested students to obtain more information and entry forms from their schools in their respective Member States. Completed forms, with all required information typed-in must be submitted to the school on the date advised. Related Posts
